Some designs feature sparkling Cubic Zirconias or vintage stones for added shimmer, while others highlight the natural beauty of the detailed embroidery alone. Lightweight and nature-inspired, they hang from simple 14k gold filled hooks and chains—perfect for adding a bold yet elegant touch to any look.
All my designs are inspired by the real thing!
Nestled in the picturesque Hudson Valley, I draw endless inspiration from the natural beauty of my surroundings. In my work, I intricately weave vibrant fiber threads around carefully chosen branches, selected for their unique shapes and textures, to create captivating landscapes and more. Each branch becomes a natural loom, its organic form enhancing the interplay of fibers and textures. I preserve the branches in their raw, unaltered state before sealing them, allowing their natural beauty to shine through..

Nine colorful woven branches are connected and hung from a top branch to create a whimsical fiber wall hanging
34 x 22 x 15 in
Weaving this piece was a rewarding challenge, requiring delicate care to preserve the natural integrity of the branches and offshoots. I chose a palette of soft whites and beiges to highlight the intricate shapes of the branch, adding subtle elegance. Gold thread connects sections of the woven patterns, while strips of yellowed book pages are woven in to bring an element of storytelling and texture.
Stark black wool runs through each woven section, echoing the branching offshoots and adding contrast. When sunlight streams in, this piece casts beautiful, shadowy patterns on the wall, creating an ever-changing interplay of light and form.
24 x 9 x 4 in
Inspired by the mountains just outside my door, I crafted this piece by connecting several curvy Catalpa branches. The natural curves of the Catalpa tree beautifully mimic the valleys and peaks of a mountainous landscape. To add depth and pattern, I intentionally let some of the brown warp show through, while areas of shag weaving bring texture and dimension. In this scene, a miniature hiker is poised at the start of his journey, while another stands on an offshoot of the second branch, gazing out at the view through his binoculars.

This piece was inspired by the flowers in my garden. Small brass nails hold the warp thread in place and sweet shades of pink wool is threaded through the string.
